Relationships with others are important and conflicts are inevitable. The quality of your relationships determines how meaningful you believe your life is and how happy you are. In every relationship, you decide how to manage the conflict(s) that may arise. Come learn skills to help resolve conflict in your relationships with family, friends, and/ or significant others. Time: Thursdays at 5:30pm.

Goals:
1) Learn about basic communication in relationships.
2) Learn about self-disclosure and self-awareness and how they affect our relationships.
3) Learn how communication can maintain and enhance trust in relationships.
4) Learn effective ways of expressing feelings verbally.
5) Learn effective ways of expressing feelings nonverbally.
6) Learn the effective use of advising, analyzing, reassuring, questioning, and probing.
7) Learn how to use problem-solving strategies and negotiation to resolve conflicts.
8) Learn how to effectively express anger and deal with the anger of others.
